Another surprise hit us today, for centuries the hunters have all been male but the one that confronted us today was a young female. The fight did not come, she knew we are different and wants to join us to help stop treacle, we are all on our guard but ruby now sees that this girl cleo is going to be part of our group and she has shown trust in us by exposing her weapon it is a very lethal thing. The hunters have come up with an invention to turn bullets into a sort of gel that is irradiated with UV rays and when it is impacted into the vampire it explodes and it is as if the vampire has stepped out in to the midday sun. she has put her trust in us and we will do the same. She is willing to be around so many of us she has even fell asleep in our company, the smell is not that pleasant but we can deal with it. It must be a natural protection thing to smell so unappetising to us. We have decided to feed one more time before the fight so id better go and fill up so im nice and strong.

We discovered the hunter is a young girl named cleo but that was not as unusual for me as it was for the others they have told me that never in history have there been female hunters. She has joined our group she said she knows we do not feed on humans and we want to protect humanity so she wants to help us to fight treacle. We could use her gun though its bullets are like shooting bits of the sun, but I don’t think I will be going near them. We are going to hunt again then we will soon reach treacle and I hope that we will survive.
