The night passed by with barley any conversation, when conversation did take place it always dodged around the upcoming battle. We are all thinking about it but non of us would talk about it. Vincent was taking a break from driving and he now sat with Cassandra staring into her eyes and her into his, no need for spoken words they understood each other. I wondered if luca and i would get the chance to be like that with each other. The silence was broken with a gasp from ruby, she bolted upright in her seat her eyes seeing something away from the present. Brennan was sat next to her and he held her hand and soothed her with his voice trying to calm her down as the panic began to bubble over. Ruby told us we will do something wrongand we get distracted and most of us die. Ruby looked to find out what the mistake will be and she told us it’s the hunter. I asked her what this guy would do but she told me it was a girl . Luca asked me what the problem was if there was just one girl against sixteen of us i turned to him and placed my hand on his cheek “you have never seen hunters fight and we do not know how they manage to fight so well with our kind but they do. Do not underestimate her, don’t let your guard down not for one second” my voice was soft and full of concern for him. i leaned in and pressed my lips to his so softly but with such intensity that he had no choice but to respond by returning the passionate embrace and pulling me into his arms and holding me tight. The longing to embrace their other half their companion filled the bus and everyone took the chance to bid a silent personal good bye.

Hardly anyone spoke but the silence was never uncomfortable, we were all thinking about the battle but never voiced our concerns. Ruby had a vision of us doing something wrong and that most of us would die so she looked for the mistake and found that the hunter was the problem and we had to confront her before the fight every one was surprised with the information that the hunter is a girl apparently they have always been men. So we are going to meet up with this hunter and take care of her before we take on treacle. I asked why every one was so worried about just one girl when there is sixteen of us but caroline explained that hunters are not normal humans and they have strength and some way to destroy us. If this girl even thinks about hurting caroline I will kill her with out a second thought.
I held caroline and kissed her despite having a bus full of company and this set of a chain reaction and every one began saying a silent goodbye to each other.
