Cassandra and Vincent were not alone when they visited there was another one with them at first I thought it may have been sapphire or george but then why would only one of them come and leave the other. Imagine my surprise, if I had a beating heart it would of stopped, standing there in front of me he was there. I thought I was losing my mind but it was him luca he was there he was here. He wore an amulet just like mine and he glowed gloriously in the sun. once inside Cassandra explained what had happened.
Once I had left Vincent had gone to hide the body and he could hear a very faint heart beat it was weak and failing. Cassandra had returned and was full so she could control herself better, she knew what she had to do and she allowed luca to drink from her. When luca woke into this new life he asked for me straight away he was not hungry for blood on for me. They knew they had done the right thing then and they helped him to hunt promising that once he fed they would bring him to me. All the time that Cassandra was explaining luca held my hand and we never looked away from each other, I still feel guilt for what I did but he doesn’t hold it against me, for him he feels like it was meant to be, it was the way things had to be so we could be together . Cassandra and Vincent didn’t stay they know all to well what it is like when companions are together at first and they left us to it. I have to teach him and help him to adjust but we have forever to get it right.

Where do I start perhaps with a new journal for the new me. They brought caroline to me two days ago and she was not like I remembered her, she was crazed and hungry a mere shell of herself. Vincent and george had let her go and then all I remember is feeling a sharp pain then it went black. I heard Cassandra’s voice calling me out of the dark and I was aware of a strange taste in my mouth and throat but it tasted good. Then my heart began to burn hotter and hotter, the pain spread throughout my body I blacked out again, it was a day later I woke and when I opened my eyes it was astonishing I could see everything so clearly and I could hear everything. I asked for caroline as the last time I saw her she was drinking my blood and I wanted to tell I forgave her but she was gone. Vincent told me what had happened and once I fed I was to be taken to her. It was not hard to hunt as I ran faster than the animals, faster than the wind it was great the speed. I was stronger than the largest deer and I was indestructible under the attack of its antlers. All through the hunting and feeding my mind was still thinking of her. Its like I can think of a million things at the same time and understand each train of thought. When I was finally full sapphire and george took their leave and Vincent and Cassandra escorted me back home back to her. I had been given an amulet and they explained all about it for me and also some of the fundamentals of being a vampire such as watching what I do when around humans that bit was strange I was no longer a human. Not to move too fast in front of them, to watch my strength and feed on animals only. I was nervous to see caroline after they told me how she would be, guilt ridden and shying away from the world broken. When I lay my new eyes on her all the nerves went away and the only thing I could think about was having her in my arms forever. I sat holding her hand and staring in her eyes as Cassandra explained everything that happened when she left. In the back of my mind I remembered about treacle and her plans for an army but that can be delt with another time because when Vincent and Cassandra left there was nothing keeping us from each others arms for a long time.
