Ruby and Brennan arrived today and they brought two new arrivals with them, Karen and Charleigh . At first karen seemed to be reluctant and only here out of need to survive but charleigh seems to be fitting in easy. Karen caught the scent of the humans that live here and instantly Vincent lay down the law to her, its like there are two vincents one who is sweet and caring and one who is a heartless controlling leader but he does things so much better than the rest of us that it is only natural that he takes the lead. It was funny to watch them both jump back from the morning sun as it shone through the windows. The whole house has got uv filters on the windows and so the sun is of no threat inside the house. Charleigh really enjoyed the feel of the sun on her but karen was not so sure. Luca and george took them to get something to eat from the kitchen before they began their training.

Karen is not the studious type and has no respect for our history, she has found a kin ship with William as he is also struggling with it all. Vincent told them about the amulets they will get if they complete their training and join our coven, karen seemed very interested in this so I hope that is enough inspiration to help her succeed in this. They are to go before the council later today to seek approval to stay and study but they are being coached on what to say so it should go alright .
The meeting went well for both of them with the council and they were both granted a chance and so now the training begins.

It was good to see our friends Ruby and Brennan arrived today safe and sound and they brought two new arrivals with them, Karen and Charleigh . Charleigh looks like she will fit into this life with out any problems but im worried about karen she seems to be holding back. I guess its to be expected she will just need time to adjust.
Karen caught the scent of the humans that live here and instantly Vincent lay down the law to her. I saw caroline smirking and enjoying it when they both jumped from the sun when it shone through the windows. The uv filters protect us from the sun inside the house but the two women didn’t know that and they nearly jumped right across the room. I love to see caroline smile even if it is at something as simple as this.
George and I took them to the kitchen for some food which neither of them particularly enjoyed having to feed from a blood bag. We then took them to the study to join the others so they cud begin their training.


The meeting with the council went well and both karen and charleigh were granted a chance to study and train but were both warned what would happen if they failed. They are now studying with the others learning as much about the human history and our own kinds past. I hope they manage to reform it would be a waste of two more vampires and we have had enough of that now.

We took out the students in two groups to teach them to hunt animals. Luca and I took jai and melissa into the forest to hunt deer. They did well, picking out the scent and stalking them , luca and I kept a safe distance so we did not cause the self preservation to kick in. there is a natural friendship forming between jai and melissa, he was making fun of her when they had finished “Yum that was different but in a good way. It kind of tasted more tangy”. melissa had said Jai looked at her and laughed “Are you sure you got to taste it, seems like it all missed your mouth” he was almost doubled over in laughter. She lashed out punched him in the ribs “Oww” he cried out “What was that for?” he still dint seem to be able to stop laughing as Melissa’s lips turned to a pout. “Im only kidding half pint don’t be mad” he apologised and patted her on the head. It is good to see the light hearted banter and I hope that they will be able to make the change as it would be a waste if they had to go before the council.
When we got back to the estate the others were talking about the trouble with their hunting trip. They had gone to the other end of the Monongahela national forest and were also hunting deer. Both Greg and William had picked up the scent and were tracking them when the wind shifted and with it came the sweet mouth watering smell of humans. There was a camp site a few miles away and instinct took over William, he changed his course and sped after the humans. Sapphire stayed with Greg while George followed William, to the humans that were now in danger. George was faster than William but he had, had a head start and was just out of reach for a while till he stopped. William was watching the humans as they sat around a very small camp fire roasting marsh mallows and talking and laughing. When George approached from behind William spun around and attacked him sending him to the dirt floor. Not wanting to hurt William, George struggled to get free but it was clear the centuries had proven to favour William with great skills. George had no option but to fight back. The growls grew louder from both of them echoing in the forest causing the campers to scream in shock. George could hear some of them wondering aloud if they should go and investigate, he had to get William out of there so he stepped up his attack and threw William against a tree and began punching him in the face trying to stun him. George had to use his ability against William and render him unconscious with just a look once he could look in his eyes. As soon as the fight went out of William and he slumped against George he picked him up and sped off into the trees just in time to be missed by the three men who were coming to see what the noise was, in a vein attempt to look all heroic to their girlfriends.
Once back with Sapphire and Greg who had managed to get himself a deer and was now full they all headed back to the estate.
william was now feeling sorry for himself and is very quiet but he is doing well, we never expected things to go smoothly.
Ruby and brennan are returning soon and it is good news they have been gone for so long.

We took out a hunting group today and they did so well caroline and I watched as they took down a deer each, they even seemed to enjoy the taste. Jai and melissa get on so well with each other. I can see that caroline is proud of them. The other group had a bit of trouble with William, he caught the scent of some humans and took off after them but george and sapphire managed to get him under control before he harmed any one. Ive got a feeling that William is going to struggle so much with this. Life is going so good just now and im not missing any of my human life at all, its as if I have always been a vampire every thing is coming natural to me. Even the scent of human blood is not overpowering me. I have been learning to fight and Vincent is a great teacher, im even learning to control my telekinetic ability more now. Caroline feels that ruby and brennan are returning home soon and every one is on a high with things being so good right now.

Time is passing so quickly, we have found a perfect estate with a large house and surrounding gardens. There is a ten foot high wall around the property and on the other side is the start of the forest. We have joined up with the hunters and have sent out teams to spread the new law and to bring back those who are willing to learn to live with the humans. We have had a few classes of students who have done so well. Luca and I are very happy together, sometimes we retreat to our little house for some alone time. Adriana is settling in but she keeps to herself most of the time, she is not used to being around others. We have discovered that she can mind meld with others it comes in handy if we have to leave and need to get a message to the hunters back at the estate. It has almost been a year now since the fight with treacle and Nosferatu a fight that brought our family together. Cleo and Kaden don’t seem bothered by the fact that he is vampire and she is not only human but a hunter, the others have accepted them only her brother kyle is still not a fan of vampires.

Yesterday I was dancing in the lounge in front of the large log fire and luca was reading in the arm chair well he was supposed to be reading but he was watching me. The book and the dancing got put on hold and he dragged me up to our room where we stayed for a while. The students are learning the human history and other knowledge that will enable them to live among the humans they are being taught to hunt animals and are doing very well. I watch luca as he practices his telekinesis and teach the students and all I want to do is pull him away so I have him all to myself, this bond we have, the insatiable wanting for each other is so strong. Life is good.

It has been almost a year since we destroyed treacle and Nosferatu ha ha what a name treacle and as for Nosferatu I found out he changed his name from franklin centuries ago. The hunters are coping great with us all that is but kyle who is cleos brother he is not happy about all of this. Vincent is pleased with the ease I am adapting to this life and has been helping me to get a grip on my power of telekinesis. I cant seem to keep my hands off caroline for too long but I don’t really want to so it doesn’t matter. I love her so much she is my life or what ever it is that this is now. We are training the students in every aspect of humanity from the history to the movements they make. We have only had a few incidents but have been able to get it under control quickly. The teams return with new students for us then they head out again. There have been some that would not obey and had to be killed but for the most part every one is cooperating.

We are now looking for an estate so we can all stay together but luca and I are keeping our house as a place for some … alone time. The meeting with the hunters went well Vincent and I assured them of our plans and both sides have offered information to each other that could help. They were not happy about cleo and kaden but we met cleos mothers and we could see that they would not protest too much. Cleos mother adriana is one of us, about nine years ago she was attacked in front of cleo and taken away. She returned to them a vampire and found that the bond with her husband was just as strong if not stronger and so she was fed donated blood and stayed away from humans locked up in their house. She has asked to come and live with us in the estate and we have agreed. All through the meeting I noticed that all of the men were standing protectively in front of the women and they were cautious but it went great and we now have a council to bring law and order to our worlds.

We met with the hunters today and wow I had no idea there were so many of them. I felt on edge the whole time worried about protecting caroline but it all went rather smoothly, they were not happy about cleo going off on her own and even more upset about kaden. Vincent told them about our plan and caroline assured them that no more humans would be turned without permission from the council and if any were then we had coven members who could track them and those who had turned them. Cleo has a brother kyle he is not happy about this at all he hates our kind we are going to have to keep an eye on him. We also found out about adriana, cleos mother she had been turned nine years ago and she had come back to them her husband stephen had the bond with her and they kept her locked away from the other hunters she was fed with donated blood from a hospital. It was a few yrs before they found out about her and they took some time but eventually they accepted her though she still sheltered away from the world.
Caroline and I have decided to keep our house but we will be moving in with the others, we are going to pull our funds together and buy an estate large enough for us all so that we can set up a base of operations. that’s something im going to have to learn, how to set up a financial system that will last for more than ten life times.

It has been decided that we will meet with the hunters and try to make a truce, we all agree with Vincent, it is our duty to stop this from happening again. From now on we will be a united coven and our job will be to bring a new law to our kind and stop the killing so we can live with the humans in peace. Cleo has called her father to explain everything and he has agreed to a meeting. We are all nervous about going to meet with all the hunters but it must be done. Kaden and cleo seem at ease with each other already, they are sitting holding hands in the middle of the bus, Cassandra has told me that from his thoughts he has no intention of hurting her or feeding on humans again. Im so glad that non of our group our family have been taken from us and im even more glad that I still have luca. He is my world, the centre of my universe and right now I don’t care about walking into a room full of hunters who want to kill us , im content in his arms. It is hard to believe that I had been living in new Hampshire so close to the hunters all this time and never knew. We should reach home the day after tomorrow and then we will meet with them and see if we can join together and try to bring peace to our worlds.

Vincent gave us a speech about how it is now our responsibility to change the way our kind live. We are on our way to talk with the other hunters to join with them and form a council to bring a law to ban feeding on and killing humans. We have a day or so more travelling until we get back to new Hampshire I can see the relief on every ones faces that we all survived and we have found a new friend to add to our group in cleo and kaden. When I look at caroline I cant help but be thankful and feel blessed that she is mine now and forever. I always thought of myself as the modern man but when I look at her I realise that I am old fashioned and that I was born in the wrong era, I am protective of her, I want her to be happy and im a gentleman as she has pointed out. Since my parents died I have never felt like I belonged I was always an outsider but now I have found my place by her side and as I look around at the others I realise I have found my family.

when i returned caring the body remains. The others had been worried when they could not find us and when i had returned alone they panicked that luca was the one who had been killed. Cleo followed me out of the trees and they were sure that luca had been the one the oracle spoke of falling. But when he walked out of the trees the shock on their faces was priceless. Then the male vampire followed him. Luca was carring treacles body and the male had Nosferatus. Confusion struck the group as we put the remains on the fire. The male named kaden stood by cleo and put his arm around her. Ruby was first to talk “well I never” she said out loud she continued when she saw the others watching her “ I thought it was strange when caroline bonded with a human but a vampire bonding with a hunter. I never thought I would live to see that and as an immortal that is a long time”. gasps rang out among the group. Cleo and the kaden just smiled and shrugged their shoulders. “wait so if we are all here then the oracle was wrong” luca asked and ruby burst out laughing which shocked the rest of them they waited for her to compose herself. Brennan was by her side and he turned to her waiting like the rest of them “she never used the word die, she said one of us will fall and well cleo has become one of our group and she has fallen for kaden” the laughter erupted through the lot of them. I too was shocked but it just seemed right some how. We waited till the fire was done then we returned to the bus wondering what we should do next.

The house caught alight quickly and soon we could hear screams from inside. The shade from the trees covered too much of the area and only a small area of sunlight surrounded the house. Then everything happened so fast. Those inside burst out of the house through the windows and the doors, some were on fire already and the others caught fire when the sunlight hit them. We moved in for the attack but some got past us and into the shade of the trees. Luca and I followed treacle and Nosferatu into the trees and found them with another male, treacle had burned her face and it was already starting to scar and heal. We all crouched into the protective stance ready to attack then the male caught the same scent we all did and he took off to take care of the human the hunter. Cleo. Treacle was very angry that I had kept being able to go out in daylight a secret from her. The four of us fought dodging advances from the others we wrestled back and forth for what seemed like forever. Then I was pinned to the ground by treacle and she was about to go in for the kill when luca was on her back trying to pull her from me. He was stopped by Nosferatu who had grabbed him and was pulling him away and trying to bite him. That was when we all heard the loud crack and Nosferatu cried out in pain as sun light burst through him from the inside out. Cleo stood in between the trees with her gun held out in front of her. I took the advantage as treacle was distracted and I tore a large chunk from her neck then I ripped her head from her shoulders tossing it to the ground as the blood spurted out and pooled in a puddle on the ground next to her lifeless body. Luca helped me get to my feet as the remains of Nosferatu fell to the ground. We turned to face cleo to thank her and were horrified to see the other male right behind her, I tried to call out to her but he had his hand on her shoulder. She did not turn, she did not run and she did not cry out as he stretched his mouth to reveal his sharp teeth and leaned towards her.
