We took out the students in two groups to teach them to hunt animals. Luca and I took jai and melissa into the forest to hunt deer. They did well, picking out the scent and stalking them , luca and I kept a safe distance so we did not cause the self preservation to kick in. there is a natural friendship forming between jai and melissa, he was making fun of her when they had finished “Yum that was different but in a good way. It kind of tasted more tangy”. melissa had said Jai looked at her and laughed “Are you sure you got to taste it, seems like it all missed your mouth” he was almost doubled over in laughter. She lashed out punched him in the ribs “Oww” he cried out “What was that for?” he still dint seem to be able to stop laughing as Melissa’s lips turned to a pout. “Im only kidding half pint don’t be mad” he apologised and patted her on the head. It is good to see the light hearted banter and I hope that they will be able to make the change as it would be a waste if they had to go before the council.
When we got back to the estate the others were talking about the trouble with their hunting trip. They had gone to the other end of the Monongahela national forest and were also hunting deer. Both Greg and William had picked up the scent and were tracking them when the wind shifted and with it came the sweet mouth watering smell of humans. There was a camp site a few miles away and instinct took over William, he changed his course and sped after the humans. Sapphire stayed with Greg while George followed William, to the humans that were now in danger. George was faster than William but he had, had a head start and was just out of reach for a while till he stopped. William was watching the humans as they sat around a very small camp fire roasting marsh mallows and talking and laughing. When George approached from behind William spun around and attacked him sending him to the dirt floor. Not wanting to hurt William, George struggled to get free but it was clear the centuries had proven to favour William with great skills. George had no option but to fight back. The growls grew louder from both of them echoing in the forest causing the campers to scream in shock. George could hear some of them wondering aloud if they should go and investigate, he had to get William out of there so he stepped up his attack and threw William against a tree and began punching him in the face trying to stun him. George had to use his ability against William and render him unconscious with just a look once he could look in his eyes. As soon as the fight went out of William and he slumped against George he picked him up and sped off into the trees just in time to be missed by the three men who were coming to see what the noise was, in a vein attempt to look all heroic to their girlfriends.
Once back with Sapphire and Greg who had managed to get himself a deer and was now full they all headed back to the estate.
william was now feeling sorry for himself and is very quiet but he is doing well, we never expected things to go smoothly.
Ruby and brennan are returning soon and it is good news they have been gone for so long.

We took out a hunting group today and they did so well caroline and I watched as they took down a deer each, they even seemed to enjoy the taste. Jai and melissa get on so well with each other. I can see that caroline is proud of them. The other group had a bit of trouble with William, he caught the scent of some humans and took off after them but george and sapphire managed to get him under control before he harmed any one. Ive got a feeling that William is going to struggle so much with this. Life is going so good just now and im not missing any of my human life at all, its as if I have always been a vampire every thing is coming natural to me. Even the scent of human blood is not overpowering me. I have been learning to fight and Vincent is a great teacher, im even learning to control my telekinetic ability more now. Caroline feels that ruby and brennan are returning home soon and every one is on a high with things being so good right now.
